Lessons are for all abilities and levels of English, beginner to advanced.

An informal discussion before you start your lessons will establish the content and level you start at.

Lessons will be adapted according to the contexts in which you will use it (professional, cultural, social, exam preparation, etc.) and your course will be planned according to this discussion.

I’m a native speaker of English with Received Pronunciation (BBC English) and lessons are carried out in English. However, I’m a fluent French speaker and have a basic level in Spanish, so for beginners, I can answer any admin questions or explain complex grammar points in those languages if you need.

I worked for many years in theatre and film in the UK so, for intermediate and advanced level students, I can offer a course based on the close study of film, play, and film script extracts.
